Lifetime Saber Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. All non-discontinued sabers include a lifetime warranty covering defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core electronics and blade.
Covered Under Warranty
- Damage on Arrival (DOA) — must be reported upon receipt
- Verified soundboard failure (after troubleshooting)
- Manufacturing defects outside normal standards
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Dueling or impact damage (including stress on skinny-neck designs)
- Improper or forceful disassembly
- Incorrect or high-output chargers
- Unauthorized modifications (soundfonts, blade styles, flashing)
- Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Resale or secondary market purchases
- Retention screw damage from over-tightening
Important
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Submit a support ticket for assistance (48-hour response time)
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

This lightsaber stood out to me while browsing options due to its incredibly nice use of black, blue and gold. It gives the lightsaber a very distinct appearance. And I can happily say that it did not disappoint when I received it. It looks even better in real life, it is very nicely made, and handles quite well. The blue and gold colouring is wonderfully done as well, so I can certainly recommend this one to anyone who likes the aesthetics!
I ordered one but didn't expect it to be shipped from China. When I saw that, I was concerned it would be cheap and poorly made.

I ordered this and another saber with the proffie boards (my first legit sabers) and they're amazing. Still getting used to how to navigate the different settings and sound fonts and what not but they're amazing, I can't stop looking or playing with them.
For this one specifically, the Hornet...
The feel of this saber in my hands is great! But I do wish the hilt were slightly longer. I can hold the hilt perfectly fine with one hand but with two hands, my top hand starts to nudge up against the gold flare out wings on the emitter. While it's not a big deal, it's not the comfiest to have my hand there for too long.
I love this hilt with the deep blue blade color. With the blue and gold accents on the hilt, I just feel like it "pops" so much more!
This is definitely a high-quality product and I'll be browsing through Theory Sabers again for my next purchase.
Not to persuade customers not to order better quality, but ordered the standard RGB and standard soundboard specs. Did NOT disappoint, rather exceeded expectations. Love the size of the hilt, uniqueness to this Hornet one, and very clean. The shortest size (32 inch I believe) is definitely enough. I also ordered the Prodigal Son V2 affordable version with 36 inch and it's heavier to wield than 32 inch, just keep that in mind. Also the tutorial and guidance videos SW Theory and Theory Sabers shares are very helpful!
I'm inching to order another... once I have enough saved up. Definitely worth the money!!! Thank you Theory Sabers, and thank you SW Theory!!!
