Lifetime Saber Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our products. All non-discontinued sabers include a lifetime warranty covering defects and malfunctions under normal use, including the core electronics and blade.
Covered Under Warranty
- Damage on Arrival (DOA) — must be reported upon receipt
- Verified soundboard failure (after troubleshooting)
- Manufacturing defects outside normal standards
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Dueling or impact damage (including stress on skinny-neck designs)
- Improper or forceful disassembly
- Incorrect or high-output chargers
- Unauthorized modifications (soundfonts, blade styles, flashing)
- Misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Resale or secondary market purchases
- Retention screw damage from over-tightening
Important
Unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
Submit a support ticket for assistance (48-hour response time)
Polarity: Align + and - symbols correctly to prevent damage.
Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.
Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.
Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.
Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.
Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.
Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable
What “Empty – No Electronics” Means?
- Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.
- Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards—empty chassis only.
- Sound Fonts: Even if “Mark 1 - Free” appears in sound-font dropdowns, no sound-font files (SD cards) are shipped or billed.
Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our “Fully Loaded” or “Complete Kit” listings instead.

Best lightsaber I’ve ever had!
Great
Love the feel, the sound choices and the different light effects. However my 4th light effects doesnt seem to work and only clashes and swings, the base light is off with this form.
Super fun to play with
This was my very first saber purchased. I went with Theory Saber’s due to their build quality and work ethic Star Wars Theory instills in his content. This saber does not disappoint. It’s well balanced and very bright with a proffie. Handles like a dream when doing twirls and cool spins. The added touch of being able to wrap the leather strap on the handle myself was nice as well. I will be purchasing more sabers in the future, once my pocketbook recovers.
The main issue I encountered was not receiving responses from the theory saber support team. I sent 4 emails over the course of three weeks without a single response from any of them. I did however finally get a response and the problem I had was solved. The saber I ordered is great, no issues there. No doubt it was as good as I had hoped.. But the mystery saber I received (I had the buy one get a free mystery saber) was disappointing to put it bluntly. The saber I purchased was an SD-RGB Saber (lowest possible tier saber) and it's excellent but the mystery saber I received was some how worse... It was also an SD-RGB but the sound fonts and programming on the board was garage compared to the other SD-RGB Saber I purchased.... One of them is voiced by Star wars theory himself and includes all of the Mark one sound fonts but the mystery saber has none of that... It has basic fonts, bad audio, poor smooth swing integration, and different button controls. I thought with the mystery saber I was at minimum supposed to get something as good as my saber or better... But I got worse. I'm hoping there is a way to include the same fonts and button controls. If I can get the support team to respond! We will see... Overall 3/ 5 stars

- Theory Sabers Support
This was my first Theory Saber and it is still my go to. Whether its "dueling" with friends and family, spinning or just playing around with, I find that this is the one I gravitate to. It is simple and light weight yet very durable. I especially love how deep the blade is set into the emitter which makes it feel very secure so I do not worry about the blade coming loose or breaking off. The sound is great and I colors still look great even in the rgb version. All in all I would recommend as a first saber or just a Go-To saber.

This is my first realistic lightsaber. I can't say how amazing the experience was just by unpacking it! The saber is beautiful and the MARK 1 fonts are amazing! I'm from Brazil and the shipment was taken care of every step of the way! Thank you and congratulations to the Star Wars Theory!
